(1) The PES2Card card module needs to have firmware level 5 installed to be able to write to a card with the Intel E28F004. (2) The PES2Card card module needs to have firmware level 4 installed to be able to write to a card with the Macronix MX29F400T/B. You cannot use the Brother blank card in the Viking Rose. (3) The PES2Card card module needs to have firmware level 3 installed to be able to write to a card with this chip. (4) The PES2Card card module needs to have firmware level 2 installed to be able to write to a Great Notions blank card. Brother and Viking programmable cards are compatible cards. We have verified that the Viking cards have the same form factor as the Brother cards. You can re-use cards for Viking if they are in the Viking list. Starting with release 1.01.001 of the PES2Card software you will be able to restore the original designs. The new PES2Card software will enable you to interchange both types of cards which are effectively the same. You can read and write Viking blank cards (Prod.No 4124176-01) using the PES2Card software 1.01.001 or higher. |
