The Brother PPD has three external peripherals ports: a TV port to display video output, an FB100/knitting machine port and a printer port.
Two of these ports are already supported by our products and your PC: FB100 Emulator turns your PC into an FB100 and PPD Print turns your PC into a printer for the PPD.
PPD Video now turns your PC into a TV screen for the PPD.

PPD Video is a cable to connect the Brother PPD video port via a video grabber to a USB port of your computer.
Using the software that comes with the video grabber, you can capture the video signal of the PPD and show the data on the display of your computer.

Installation by User

PPD Video is user installable.
Remove the 4 screws that keep the lid on the PPD.
Take off the lid.
Fold back the keyboard.
Attach the PPD Video with the clamps to the 2 resistors as shown in the left picture below.
Fold back the keyboard and you see the picture to the right.
Put on the lid again and fix the 4 screws.
